BETTED project was promoted at the sixth edition of Food 4 Future – Expo FoodTech, held in Bilbao last 27-28th of May, through the dissemination activities carried out at the FIAB stand, where several European innovation projects were presented to key stakeholders from across the food and beverage sector.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to increase the visibility of BETTED among industry professionals, technology providers, research organisations, and policymakers, fostering knowledge exchange and potential collaborations with actors driving innovation in the agri-food ecosystem.

Food 4 Future has become one of Europe’s leading events for food industry innovation and digital transformation. Its sixth edition brought together 329 international speakers, 261 exhibiting companies, and more than 7,124 registered professionals, further strengthening its position as a benchmark event for the food and beverage industry.

The focus of the exhibition on sustainability, technological innovation, digitalisation, and the future competitiveness of food production aligns closely with the objectives pursued by BETTED. As the sector continues to face challenges related to efficiency, resource optimisation, and sustainable growth, European collaborative projects such as BETTED play an important role in accelerating the adoption of innovative solutions and supporting the transition towards more resilient food systems.

Through its promotion at FIAB stand, BETTED contributed to showcasing the value of European research and innovation initiatives and their potential impact on the future of the food and beverage industry. The event also offered an opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and raise awareness of the project’s activities and expected outcomes.
