On July 1st, FIAB and ESCAN successfully hosted a hybrid workshop (in-person at FIAB’s headquarters in Madrid and online) focused on technological innovation and energy efficiency in the food sector.
The event, organized with the collaboration of Food for Life-Spain Platform, brought together experts and stakeholders from the agri-food industry to share practical strategies and innovations that enhance sustainability and reduce energy consumption.

- Non-energy benefits of energy audits
- New technologies for hygiene inspection and real-time monitoring
- Supply chain management in the dairy sector
- Valorization of by-products in the meat and dairy industries

The workshop included expert presentations, practical tools, and a closing survey to gather participant feedback.
