The BETTED project participated at the LIFE Clean Energy Transition Contractors’ Meeting in Brussels, held on April 10–11, 2025. This key event brought together stakeholders from EU-funded projects working to advance Europe’s clean energy transition.
The main goal of the meeting was to exchange insights and results from projects focused on improving energy efficiency in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the industrial sector. Recent EU-funded projects related to this topic were invited to participate.
The event also provided an opportunity to hear directly from the European Commission about the latest policy updates under the EU Green Deal, and to identify key policy takeaways and content gaps that should be addressed in upcoming LIFE Clean Energy Transition (CET) calls.
During the meeting, BETTED partners from UNIBS, IEECP, EHPA and ESCAN were there to present the project’s technical progress and objectives, emphasizing their commitment to supporting energy efficiency and innovation in the business and industrial sectors.
The LIFE Clean Energy Transition Contractors’ Meeting serves as a crucial event to foster collaboration between projects with similar objectives and speed up the shift towards a more sustainable, resilient, and competitive energy system across Europe.
