The BETTED project — Boosting Energy Transition of the Dairy Value Chain — is proud to announce the launch of the Industry Informative Network (IIN) platform, a new digital hub designed to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation across the dairy sector.

Originally created within the ICCEE EU Project, the IIN platform was first developed to support knowledge exchange in the food and beverage cold supply chain. Building on its proven success in connecting stakeholders and promoting energy efficiency, the platform has now evolved to serve as a strategic tool within BETTED.

At the heart of the IIN lies the Catalogue of Innovation, a dedicated space where companies, technology providers, and service experts can showcase solutions or highlight specific needs. This matchmaking feature not only increases visibility but also strengthens partnerships, paving the way for the adoption of innovative, energy-efficient technologies in the dairy sector.

The IIN is designed as a central meeting point where companies, researchers, policymakers, and energy experts can:

  • Access tailored tools and resources developed by the BETTED consortium
  • Engage in benchmarking and business intelligence activities
  • Stay up to date on policy developments and funding opportunities
  • Collaborate to develop practical solutions for energy efficiency and sustainability

Through this platform, BETTED aims to empower SMEs in the dairy value chain to adopt renewable energy systems, heat recovery solutions, and energy-saving practices, helping to ensure that the energy transition is both technically achievable and economically and socially inclusive.

“The IIN platform is more than just a tool — it is a growing community of practice, designed to drive systemic change and support a sustainable future for the dairy sector.”

We invite all stakeholders to explore the platform and join this collaborative effort to accelerate the energy transition.
