The LIFE REPowerEU platform meeting took place the 14 and 15 May 2024 on Brescia, Italy, gathering EU funded projects to share best practices and innovative solutions. The LIFE platform RePowerEU Conference, promoted by the European Commission, with the EU Environment and Climate (DG Climate) and Energy (DG ENER), and CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, was dedicated to the European REPowerEU plan (launched in May 2022) and to the strategies implemented in the achievement of the decarbonisation goals, with a special focus on the efficient heating and cooling sector, one of the cornerstones of the European strategy.
The University of Brescia, coordinator of the BETTED project, participated to the LIFE Platform ‘REPower EU plan: focus on heating and cooling’. The aim of the sessions was to cast light on how different measures, including the more efficient use of available energy, can contribute to the REPowerEU objectives.
During the Conference, national and European representatives met and share experiences and best practices from their respective Member States and with the task of drafting a Policy Plan.
